At the invitation of the Communist Party of Kampuchea, a delegation of the Central Committee of the KBW visited Democratic Kampuchea between December 2 and 9, 1978. It was led by the Secretary of the Central Committee of the KBW. The delegation met with Comrade Nuon Chea, Deputy Secretary of the Central Committee of the KPK, Comrade Ieng Sary, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the KPK and on December 9 with Comrade Pol Pot, Secretary of the Communist Party of Kampuchea. The delegation visited 10 of the 19 provinces of Democratic Kampuchea.
