By 1978, Democratic Kampuchea had restored rice production to 3.4 million tons, nearing pre-war levels—a remarkable feat of self-reliance achieved despite years of U.S. bombing. Yet, the enemies of genuine independence propagated slander, fabricating ‘genocide’ narratives to mask their own aggression. This text dismantles such lies, asserting the right of the Kampuchean people to determine their own socialist future, free from imperialist manipulation and foreign domination.
