The Chinese Communist Party, officially the Communist Party of China, is the founding and sole ruling party of the People's Republic of China. Under the leadership of Mao Zedong, the CCP emerged victorious in the Chinese Civil War against the Kuomintang.

The Communist Party of Kampuchea, also known as the Khmer Communist Party, was a communist party in Cambodia. Its leader was Pol Pot and its members were generally known as the Khmer Rouge.
